She is a quiet and timid young wealthy girl, which is the result of growing up in a hostile environment. Although people were nice to her on the surface, she knew that in reality they wanted to be rid of her so that they can get the inheritance for themselves. She has minor telepathic abilities and can read a person's mind by holding his or her hand. Her only companion and the only person she trusts, besides her deceased father, is her caretaker Asagami Akiko. Soon after she meets Ryou and touches his hand, she develops an almost instant bond with him as she senses his kindness as well as the hardships he has experienced in his life. She senses that he has also been lonely like her. Ryou becomes one of the few people Sara trusts and feels comfortable around and Ryou treats her almost like a daughter as he protects her from harm and helps her overcome her timidness. Sara's feelings towards Ryou gradually become romantic and she becomes conflicted once she inadvertently reads Kaori's mind and discovers Kaori's feelings towards Ryou. Nishikujo Sara is also the name of the female lead of Houjou Tsukasa's manga Komorebi no moto de. Despite having the same name and a similar appearance, the two characters are completely different and Komorebi no Moto de has no connection with City Hunter. She is voiced by Sugiyama_Kazuko.
